3 Day Refresh- Second Round
I have been waiting excitedly for the time where I got to do the 3 Day Refresh again! I've been pregnant and breastfeeding for over two years! I have seen some fellow coaches complete the Reset while nursing but I personally just thought I'd wait till I was done... I'm so hungry while I'm breastfeeding, I didn't want the stress of it! Finally, this month I was able to jump all in and reap the benefits!
Here were my results! I lost 1.5 on my waist! Not really significant anywhere else but my genetics are just that... Apple shape. Haaaha. Tummy is the "problem spot."
Amazing! I was not expecting that at all! I feel so much better from the inside out and I know that it whipped my habits back to how I want them to be! I'm determined to get into the best shape of my life this year and I am feeling so dang good and totally on track!
Here's the lowdown for how each day is broken down:
To give you an example, this is what a typical day looks like during your 3 Day Refresh: 1. Wake-Up: Drink 8-12oz of filtered water. 2. Breakfast: Eat within an hour of waking. This will be your Shakeology PLUS some Fruit. So for me, I had chocolate vegan Shakeology mixed with frozen watermelon! Yummy! It made it super thick so I could eat it!
3. Mid-Morning: Drink your Fiber Sweep which is a safe, natural and effective digestive aid. (It will also not make you run to the bathroom multiple times a day as some cleanses can do.) It contains whole ground flax, chia, and psyllium seed husks. When you drink Fiber Sweep, it can help lower cholesterol, support healthy blood sugars, and may even reduce the risk of coronary heart disease. Of course you need to be following a healthy diet, low in saturated fat and cholesterol. AKA don’t just take Fiber Sweep and then go eat fast food. Oh, but one thing, don’t let this thing sit, drink it asap. I was trying to do a video with it for my group and literally within 20 seconds it was sludge! 😂😂 It was cool to see a visual of what was happening with it, I totally can see how it'll clean out the bowls as it passes through! Optional midmorning with I did all three days: You can have herbal unsweetened tea!
4. Lunch: Drink your Vanilla Fresh which is a high-protein (20g), multi-nutrient and mineral protein shake. I just added cinnamon to my shake so i could still eat my fruit and veggie. It was a little chalky but tasted better than i remember it tasting so that wad good! You also get a fruit option, a veggie option and a healthy fat option. So I had my shake, sauteed a tomato with olive oil and I had 1/2 banana for my fruit.
5. Afternoon – Snack: Eat something from your vegetable, and a healthy fat, or juice options list (they have some fabulous juicer recipes!). Most days I did 1/2 a red bell pepper and a mashed avocado serving.
6. Dinner: Have your second Vanilla Fresh Protein shake, and you also get to chose from one of the delicious recipes for dinner. It’s optional to add in the one cup of organic vegetable broth. And I had the spinach salad, and replaced the asparagus and almond recipe with green beans and walnuts due to what I had in my fridge, and a vegan stir fry. All of them were yummy except I had to add itialian dressing to my salad BC I was not jiving with that recipe's dressing!
On day 3 in the afternoon I was starting to feel really hungry and deprived. I listened to my body and cooked up an egg white. 17 calories... Not a big deal but totally helped settle my system. :)
My greatest advice to someone looking into doing this cleanse is to get plugged in with our group! The first time I did the Refresh my mindset was not right and I was feeling deprived! Its not about that at all, its about loving your body, listening to your body, fueling it and cleaning it.
This time around, we just got back from Newport beach which... Hmmm... How do I say this? I bombed the second half of the week on nutrition. 🙈 So to come back and step right into the cleanse... It was a huge blessed and seriously helped my mindset and cadence with when to eat and how to eat!
I strongly recommend this cleanse! Not taxing on the system and you get to eat still! You will most certainly feel super refreshed when you are done and love what you're looking at in the mirror just a bit more after honing in and locking down on your goals.
